Hong Kong–Shenzhen Innovation and Technology Park is committed to developing into a world‑class innovation and technology hub and an industry–academia–research platform. The first three buildings of Phase I—Buildings 8, 9 and 11—are already operational. The remaining five buildings are expected to be completed by the end of 2026, providing comprehensive facilities to support enterprises’ research and development activities and innovation, and to advance collaboration in science and technology across Hong Kong and Chinese Mainland.

From the third floor up to the tenth floor feature state-of-the-art dry laboratories and smart offices, equipped with world-class building management systems covering security, air quality, energy efficiency and connectivity. It is a purposely built, future-ready environment where ideas can be sparked, refined and realised.
Buildings 8 and 9 serve as dedicated hubs for chemical, biological, and sample testing research, housing state-of-the-art wet laboratories across eight floors. Purposely built to support high-end scientific work, the facilities are equipped with P3-compatible laboratory infrastructure, centralised chemical waste neutralisation systems, exhaust ventilation, and hazardous material storage rooms. Designed to meet stringent environmental, safety and technical requirements, these buildings provide a robust foundation for a wide spectrum of R&D activities—empowering enterprises to transform research into impactful scientific breakthroughs.
