HSITP to Build AI Industry Collaborative Ecosystem in the Greater Bay Area
By strengthening computing infrastructure, establishing mechanisms for cross-border data flow, and creating open technology platforms, HSITP plans to develop a complete AI industry chain covering chip design, algorithm development, and industry applications, and thus to promote the efficient flow of innovation resources across GBA and global communities.

Promoting Scenario-Based Demonstrations in Key Industries
Cross-border pilot projects are planned to be carried out in fields such as smart healthcare, intelligent manufacturing, and smart connected vehicles. A full-process innovation system integrating "R&D–testing–commercialization" is planned to be established to accelerate the prototyping and commercialization of AI technologies.

Creating a World-Class "AI + Life and Health" Laboratory Cluster
Leveraging Hong Kong's world-class research teams and laboratory advantages, a cross-disciplinary research platform combining "life and health + artificial intelligence" is planned to be built. It will attract top global talent to conduct original research, to facilitate full-chain innovation from basic research to industrial transformation.

Developing a Specialized AI Functional Cluster Zone
An exclusive Artificial Intelligence and Data Science functional zone is planned to be established in HSITP. It is expected to be equipped with data center, computing hubs and industrial service platforms, forming a globally competitive AI industry cluster.

2. HSITP plans to setup data center to connect with the GBA and China data center hub to provide computing power resources to support enterprise R&D and AI application development.

3. HSITP plans to build world-class laboratories and open AI platforms to drive innovation and implementation of "AI+" industries in fields like smart healthcare and intelligent manufacturing.
